San Francisco Scottish Rite belongs to the Masonic family, offering fellowship and community service opportunities. Freemasonry, the oldest fraternal organization worldwide, teaches through degrees based on cathedral-building traditions. The Scottish rite is one of two paths Master Masons can pursue after completing Blue Lodge Masonry (the other being a York Rite). Membership is open to honest men seeking deeper connections with others and the divine.
